Goudsmit Magnetic Supplies has recently been awarded AS9100C certification and is therefore qualified as a supplier to the aerospace industry. The certification includes all the requirements of ISO9001 plus a great many specific requirements that are mandatory when subcontracting for the aerospace industry. The company attained ISO/TS 16949:2009 certification in 2008 and since that time has been a successful supplier to the automotive industry. Achieving AS9100C certification is the next step in the company’s development as a supplier of magnets and high-quality magnetic systems. Goudsmit supplies the automotive and aerospace industries with permanent magnets and magnetic systems that are used for applications in sensors, actuators and linear drives.
