Lantek, a pioneering multinational in the digital transformation of the sheet metal and metal industrial sector, announces the appointment and incorporation of Rodrigo Argandoña as the company’s new Chief Operations Officer who will report directly to Alberto López de Biñaspre, CEO at Lantek. Additionally, he will form part of the company’s Steering Committee.

Rodrigo Argandoña has over 30 years of experience leading teams involved in the development and implementation of global software solutions in multinational environments. Since 2016, Argandoña has been managing the operations of General Electric (Grid Automation) for southern Europe, achieving a turnover of more than 50 million dollars annually in solutions and services, leading local teams in Portugal, Spain, Italy and Romania. Previously, Rodrigo was vice-president at Aclara Technologies where he collaborated as Design Engineering Manager in the successful growth of the spin-off of the business unit for electricity meters at GE (GE Meters)

He qualified as a Computer Engineer at the University of Mondragón and with an MSc in Computing Science from Staffordshire University, Lantek’s new Chief Operations Officer is currently completing an MBA at the University of Mondragón.

Rodrigo will be responsible for the international operations in the 15 countries and 20 offices where Lantek has service teams and local projects. As Lantek’s new COO, he will be in charge of streamlining the execution of projects via the Global Project Office.

With the appointment of Rodrigo Argandoña, Lantek continues to increase its leading position in the market and to solidify its firm commitment to the digital transformation of the sheet metal industry.
