As part of the new strategic direction for T W Ward CNC Machinery (Ward CNC), the company’s recently-appointed Executive Director Steve Bodsworth has announced three new senior management appointments, which in addition to bolstering the company’s sales management and service teams also place a key focus on customer experience:
- Dan McGinty joins as Regional Business Manager – Sheffield & North
- Shane Greveson has been appointed as Head of Service & Operations, and
- Charlotte Emery joins as Head of Customer Experience & Transformation.
“With significant investment we have established a new vision, additional core values and the three key objectives of growth, transformation and talent management,” said Mr Bodsworth. “This includes a high-level focus on driving the customer experience with a strong emphasis on sales, operational and functional excellence,” he added.
“The restructuring follows the recent and continued expansion of Ward CNC’s UK-wide network of Area Business Managers, and with these recent appointments especially we are focusing on an ambitious and exciting five-year growth plan for the 140-year-old Sheffield and Redditch-based business.”
With more than 15 years’ industry experience, Dan McGinty said of his appointment: “I am very excited to be part of this well-established company. I am joining an organisation that is already very successful in what it does but is also undergoing a large transformation, as can be seen by the investment in new departments and people. I am certainly looking forward to the future as there is great opportunity and potential at Ward CNC.”
Shane Greveson, who has previously spent over 15 years in varying roles from Machine Shop Manager to Business Development Director at a major engineering company, stated: “It is a privilege to able to join such a fantastic organisation. The company values – which everyone lives and breathes – were the deciding factor when the opportunity arose. My impact in the business will come from my experience; I know the expectations as a customer and what is required to give the best service possible.”
Charlotte Emery, who has over 13 years’ experience in customer-focused roles in different industries, added: “It is an exciting time for us. With the already vast wealth of expertise in the business, there is a great opportunity to take the company to the next level. Our customers are the key to future success and we as an organisation (and me, personally) are keen to get closer to understanding their needs and expectations to be able to build strong and lasting relationships.”
Manufacturing decision makers will have the opportunity to meet the new and existing members of Ward CNC’s senior management team at the company’s ‘Redditch Revealed’ Open House on 9 &10 October 2018 at Ward CNC’s Midlands & South premises on Meir Road, B98 7SY.
