Relentless growth at Industrial Tooling Corporation (ITC) has now seen the Tamworth cutting tool manufacturer add yet another Technical Sales Engineer to its ever-expanding team.
As the UK’s leading cutting tool manufacturer, ITC has expanded its product portfolio, increased manufacturing capacity and also its service and re-grind offering. To underpin this growth, ITC has continually added more technical sales engineers to retain its unparalleled levels of customer service and support. The appointment of Chris Fairbrother as a Technical Sales Engineer will bolster the support provided to manufacturing companies in the North West region of the UK by ITC.
Chris has 25 years’ experience in the industry, starting his journey as an apprentice, then CNC machinist and then progressing to numerous manufacturing engineer posts with prestigious OEM manufacturers. Chris’ rapidly progressing career then seen him advance to positions as a tooling design engineer and then taking this expertise to become a technical sales engineer in the cutting tool industry. With a strong manufacturing background from machine shop and tooling designer to technical sales, Chris will be a valuable addition to the ITC team.
Delighted to be joining the ITC team, Chris says: “I had an old work colleague that now works at ITC and he’s never been happier, so I jumped at the opportunity. When I went for an interview and a factory tour at ITC, I was a little taken back by the amazing rapport that the MD has with all his staff. That really struck a chord with me. As an engineer, my core philosophy is all about servicing the customers and making sure they are happy. Without customers, you have nothing. Like my focus on the customer, ITC has built a very successful business on customer service and exceptional product quality. I am made-up to be joining the team.”
Commenting upon the latest recruit joining ITC, Managing Director Mr Peter Graves says: “We are delighted to welcome Chris to the ITC team. He has a well proven track record in the industry and above this, he has operated as a sales engineer in the North for a number of years with a strong understanding of the area, the prominent sectors and the manufacturing companies operating in the area. With our ever-expanding offering, our strategy has been to add more technical sales engineers to all geographical areas of the UK to emphasise our expertise and also build upon our position as a full-line supplier of advanced technical solutions. This strategy requires investment in customer support that manufacturers can be confident in the knowledge that they are receiving the very best levels of service.”
