In this week’s video, igus demonstrates how to implement fully adjustable guiding that enables machine builders to add flexibility to customise their conveyors further.
By using a combination of modular drylin SLW and robolink D parts with low friction tribo-tape along the sides to ease passage, the automated guiding system is compact, easy-to-install and cost-effective.
In line with the specific requirements of the packaging industry, such as food hygiene or FDA and/or EU conformity, this igus system is perfect for packaging conveyors. As with all igus’ products, each of the machine elements used in this system is self-lubricating and therefore maintenance-free.
